Tyrese Gibson thinks Johnson is a selfish person and has "stolen" the spotlights after Universal Studios announced that they will produce a spin-off film that will focus on Luke Hobbs' character played by Johnson.
Gibson took the spin-off announcement fairly coolly, commenting that the film was only produced to fulfill Dwayne Johnson's ego, and regarded it as a "traitor" from the "Fast & Furious" family.
Not only that, he even blames Johnson because of the production of the spin-off film, the appearance of Fast & Furious 9 should be postponed until 2020 to precede the film's production.

This "drama" is getting heated up recently, Gibson made a very bold and surprising statement through his social media account.
Through the script he uploaded along with a picture of himself with Dwayne Johnson and Vin Diesel, Gibson declared that he would resign from the ninth entry of the Fast & Furious series if there was Dwayne Johnson in it.

Gibson seems genuinely angry with Johnson, to the point of accusing him of being a clown and has blocked Gibson's relationship with his family, especially with his daughter.
Gibson also emphasized that Johnson was a selfish selfish person rather than someone else, as when Johnson decided to go home and did not participate in the eighth film promotional tour a few months ago, while Gibson himself hardly ever met his family due to his busy production and promotion of the film.

Universal Studios party itself still has not given a response about the conflict between two of their biggest stars. Of course this is a very serious thing, considering Fast & Furious is one of the best-selling movie franchises right now, so internal issues like this should be solved immediately.
The Fast & Furious film spin-off will be released on July 26, 2019 and will be starred by Dwayne Johnson. Meanwhile, Fast & Furious 9 will be released on 10 April 2020.
