Concert Shin Godzilla vs. Evangelion's Concert CD Will Be Released In 3 Issues With The Cover Of The Cool

The album CD for Shin Godzilla vs. Evangelion Symphony concert will be released on December 27, 2017.
Several months ago on March 22-23, 2017, Studio Khara and Hideaki Anno as the top brass of the studio hosted a crossover event for the Godzilla and Evangelion franchise, in a Shin Godzilla concert vs. Evangelion Symphony.

Fans who did not have time to watch the concert Shin Godzilla vs. Evangelion is not to worry, because the concert held at Bunkamura Orchard Hall Shibuya, Tokyo will be released in the form of a double album with a total of two pieces of CD duration of approximately two hours.
Not only that, the famous Masahiro Maeda after directing the anime Gankutsuou: The Count of Monte Cristo and has also contributed as a concept artist for the movie Mad Max: Fury Road will draw the cover for this album.

Shin Godzilla vs Evangelion's album will be released in three editions, first press edition, regular edition, and limited edition. Each edition will have different covers, which you can see below:

The concert was held to celebrate the release of Shin Godzilla movie, which was also directed by Hideaki Anno himself. The musical score for Shin Godzilla was composed by Shiro Sagisu, who has collaborated with Anno for decades since 1990 in the Nadia TV series: The Secret of Blue Water and in 1995 in Neon Genesis Evangelion.

Sagisu also filled out the score for the Rebuild of Evangelion project which is a tetralogy of remakes from Neon Genesis Evangelion. Starting from Evangelion: 1.0 You Are (Not) Alone released in 2007, Evangelion: 2.0 You Can (Not) Advance in 2009, and Evangelion: 3.0 You Can (Not) Redo in 2012.
The last film titled Evangelion: FINAL is still in the intensive stage of work, after being delayed for several years because Anno as the director must also direct Shin Godzilla, which was released in 2016 yesterday.
