Aer Lingus and the Miami Tourism Board invited representatives of 7 French tour operators to visit Miami from October 18 to 23, 2017.
In attendance were: Laure Bastet (Kuoni), Celine Canivet (TUI), Chrystelle Cornu (Tourism Board of Miami), Erwan Mae (Carlson Wagonlit Travel), Melanie Mutrelle (Marco Vasco), Dorothea Palvadeau (Amplitudes), Hervet Sandy (Jetset Voyages), and Christelle Wetzler (Jet Tours – Thomas Cook).
All boarded the Air Lingus EI523 Paris CDG Dublin flight and then the EI141 Dublin – Miami flight, after having completed the formalities of entry into the United States during their correspondence in Dublin, thanks to the presence of American immigration.
They were able to test the new flight proposed by Aer Lingus, launched on September 1, 2017, and operated three times a week (Wednesday, Friday and Sunday) aboard a A330-200 aircraft with a capacity of 266 seats, including 243 in economy class and 23 in business class.
Once there, participants were able to discover some of the city's top attractions, including the aquarium and vibrant Wynwood, the former Charles Deering Estate, the Miami Beaches, the Pérez Art Museum and Philippe & Patricia Frost Museum of Science.
The trip ended with a cheap shopping session at the Aventura Mall, before resuming the Aer Lingus EI140 flight to Dublin and Paris.
